Sienna saw this play kitchen at Toys R Us this week. We wanted to buy it for her; she loved it! Unfortunately, the kitchen was $250!? We could have bought it for her but we decided to have real groceries instead. Decisions, decisions.
Dad, I can't believe all of that stuff is down there! Do you still have my homemade balance beam too? Next to the kitchen, my teacher's chalkboard, my punching bag and Stephanie's wedding decorations? Oh my. Ha ha - I do think she would like the kitchen. We should see if she likes it next time we are there...
I am a 30 year-old former youth leader turned full-time Mom to take care of our new baby girl, Sienna. I live in Northern Virginia my amazing husband, Daniel. Daniel is a gifted carpenter and not only does he run his own construction company, but he has been remodeling our home since we moved in last June.
After seeing a friend's blog site with updates on her daughter "AF", I became envious that I didn't do something like this sooner :) So, after her encouragement and stealing a few of her brilliant ideas, I decided to start a blog myself. Enjoy! Lauren :)

I still have your kitchen from when you were Sienna's age in the basement. Not up to the standards of today. I could put it on Craig's List for $1.50.
